PhD Salary Awards

A specific iGE3 PhD program started in September 2013 with the launch of the PhD student salary awards.

The award consists of a salary stipend given competitively to graduate students working in the laboratories of iGE3 faculty members, for projects with a strong genetics or genomics component. The salaries are provided for 2 years and are non-renewable. The funding covers a 70% assistant position (A2) according to the current regulations of the University of Geneva.

Since 2013 10 selection sessions have been set up in the fall of each year, and 50 students have been awarded so far.
