Chromatin structure-driven control of morphogenesis
I am very grateful to the iGE3 committee for selecting me and my project for this award. I am honoured and delighted to be part of this program that has been continuously supporting PhD students in their research. This award strengthens my commitment to expand my research on chromatin structure support of enhancer-promoter communication at developmental genes that ultimately defines normal or pathological morphogenesis. I want to thank my supervisor Prof. Guillaume Andrey for the support and the guidance through my PhD and this project, which truly summarises my long-standing interest in developmental genetics. I would finally also thank my colleagues in the lab for their help, advice and for creating a stimulating working atmosphere.

Temperature regulation of apoplastic barriers in Arabidopsis seeds
I was really surprised and incredulous to learn that my application was among the ones selected for the 8th iGE3 PhD Salary award. I wrote my project having in mind that it was a good exercice to lay out my ideas and have a more structured view on my thesis. This award came as the cherry on the cake! I really appreciate that the commitee was receptive to my scientific approach and the problematic that I am rising up. This very concrete support encourages and strengthens the pursuit of my thesis.

DNA-protein crosslinks: from detection to repair
I feel sincerely honored that my application was selected for the iGE3 PhD salary award. This prize is a great opportunity to motivate students in pursuing genetic and genomic driven research, and I am sure this will push my research project forward and will help to understand better the mechanisms associated with DNA repair. I would also like to express my gratitude towards Pre Françoise Stutz as well as all the laboratory members.

Bacteria body armor protecting Pseudomonas aeruginosa within the cystic fibrosis lung microbiome: a genome-wide analysis by negative selection
I am extremely happy and grateful to receive this reward, I would like to thank the iGE3 committee to have accepted my candidature and to support me for this project. This award will allow me to explore the genetic determinants that protect Pseudomonas aeruginosa cells towards Staphylococcus aureus, two competing members of the lung microbiome of cystic fibrosis patients.
I would also like to thank my supervisor and my PI for giving me the chance to work on this exciting subject.
