Project at a glance

Our laboratory is working in the field of inflammation and age-related diseases with a particular focus on ROS-generating NADPH oxidases and on stem cells.

The two main projects are the following.

1. ROS-generating NADPH oxidases of the NOX family and their role in physiology and pathophysiology.
2. Neural differentiation of pluripotent stem cells and their use for in-vitro models and cell therapy.
